POWERGRID, a Maharatna Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Power, Govt. of India and one of the largest Transmission Utilities in the World, is engaged in power transmission business with the mandate for planning, co-ordination, supervision and control over complete Inter-State Transmission System. POWERGRID operates around 1,78,195 circuit kms of transmission lines along with 279 Sub-stations (as on 30th September 2024) and wheels about 50% of total power generated in the country through its transmission network.

POWERGRID is looking for bright and energetic ENGINEERING GRADUATES to join its 100% owned subsidiary POWERGRID Energy Services Limited (PESL) as Trainee-Engineer (Electrical) for its various offices across the country. POWERGRID is carrying out this recruitment on behalf of PESL.

విద్యార్హతలు (Educational Qualifications):
పూర్తిస్థాయి B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc. (ఇంజనీరింగ్) విద్యుత్ (ఎలక్ట్రికల్) విభాగంలో లేదా సమానమైన కోర్సులో 60% మార్కులతో లేదా సమానమైన CGPAతో గుర్తింపు పొందిన యూనివర్శిటీ/సంస్థ నుండి విద్యార్హత. (Full Time B.E./ B.Tech/ B.Sc. (Engg.) in Electrical discipline or equivalent from recognized University/ Institute with minimum 60% marks or Equivalent CGPA)
డిసిప్లిన్: ఎలక్ట్రికల్/ఎలక్ట్రికల్ (పవర్)/ఎలక్ట్రికల్ మరియు ఎలక్ట్రానిక్స్/పవర్ సిస్టమ్స్ ఇంజనీరింగ్/పవర్ ఇంజనీరింగ్ (ఎలక్ట్రికల్). (Electrical/ Electrical (Power)/Electrical and Electronics/Power Systems Engineering/Power Engineering (Electrical)).
GATE 2024 స్కోరు:
- అభ్యర్థులు GATE 2024 పరీక్షలో ఎలక్ట్రికల్ ఇంజనీరింగ్ (EE) పేపర్లో హాజరై, అర్హత సాధించాలి. (Candidates must have appeared in the GATE 2024 examination in the Electrical Engineering (EE) paper and qualified in the same.)
- GATE 2024 లో అర్హత మార్కులు విద్యార్థుల ఎంపికలో ముఖ్యమైన భాగం అవుతుంది. Qualifying marks in GATE 2024 will be an important part of student selection.
Age Limit (వయస్సు) :
అభ్యర్ధుల యొక్క వయస్సు 06.11.2024 నాటికి 28 సంవత్సరాలు దాటకూడదు. (Candidates age should not exceed 28 years as on 06.11.2024.)
Age Relaxation (వయోపరిమితి) :
SC/ST/OBC, Ex-Servicemen మరియు ఇతర కేటగిరీలకు సంబంధించి Age Relaxation అనేది Government of India Orders కి లోబడి ఉంటుంది.
- OBC (NCL) అభ్యర్థులకు: 03 సంవత్సరాలు (for OBC (NCL) Candidates: 03 years)
- SC/ST అభ్యర్థులకు: 05 సంవత్సరాలు (for SC/ST Candidates: 05 years)
- PwBD అభ్యర్థులకు: 10 సంవత్సరాలు (for PwBD Candidates: 10 years)
- Ex-Servicemen/ DESM / Victims of riots అభ్యర్థులకు: Government of India ఆదేశాల ప్రకారం వయో పరిమితిలో సడలింపు ఉంటుంది.
Fee Details (ఫీజు వివరాలు) :
అభ్యర్ధులకు అప్లికేషన్ ఫీజు 500/- రూపాయలు (నాన్ రిపండబుల్) ఉంటుంది. (The application fee for the candidates is Rs.500/- (non-refundable).
Note: SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-SM/DESM వారికి అప్లికేషన్ ఫీజు నుండి మినహాయింపు ఉంటుంది. (SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-SM/DESM are exempted from application fee).
ఎంపిక విధానం (Selection Process)
- GATE 2024 స్కోరు (100 మార్కులలో normalized మార్కులు) (GATE 2024 Score (normalized marks out of 100 marks))
- బిహేవియర్ అసెస్మెంట్ (Behavioral Assessment), గ్రూప్ డిస్కషన్ (GD) (Group Discussion (GD)), మరియు వ్యక్తిగత ఇంటర్వ్యూ (Personal Interview).
ఎంపిక ప్రక్రియ:
- అభ్యర్థులు GATE 2024లో పొందిన మార్కుల ఆధారంగా బిహేవియర్ అసెస్మెంట్, గ్రూప్ డిస్కషన్, మరియు ఇంటర్వ్యూలకు షార్ట్లిస్ట్ చేయబడతారు. (Based on the marks obtained in GATE 2024 candidates will be shortlisted for behavioral evaluation, group discussion and interview.)
- ఇంటర్వ్యూ సమయంలో, అభ్యర్థులు హిందీ లేదా ఆంగ్లంలో ఇంటర్వ్యూకు హాజరయ్యే అవకాశం ఉంటుంది.( During the interview, candidates will have the option to attend the interview in Hindi or English.)

- తాజా మార్కుల ప్రామాణికత: GATE 2024లో సాధించిన స్కోరు 85%, గ్రూప్ డిస్కషన్ (Group Discussion) 3%, వ్యక్తిగత ఇంటర్వ్యూ(personal interview) 12% లకు ప్రాధాన్యం ఇవ్వబడుతుంది.
- ఎంపానెల్మెంట్: వ్యక్తిగత ఇంటర్వ్యూలో అర్హత సాధించిన అభ్యర్థులు మాత్రమే ఎంపానెల్ చేయబడతారు.
